The Research Center NanoQAM maintains since the beginning of the month a brand new equipment. It is an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) which is specifically dedicated to nanolithography using "Dip-Pen" nanolithography technic (DPN). This AFM / DPN (of the NanoINK company) was recently acquired by Prof. Ricardo Izquierdo and Steen Schougaard. This new equipment will be fully functional and accessible to all from June 2009.

The features of this instrument allow to make nano-imaging using methods like "contact mode" and "tapping mode".This device with its "Dip-Pen nanolithography" technic allows to make nano-imprint. Finally, with its "Bias Control Option" module, this AFM can also be perform oxidation nanolithography.

As for all other equipment supported by the Research Center NanoQAM, people interested in using this equipment alone will necessarily need to follow a training session with Gwenael Chamoulaud prior to use the equipment.
